MAISON PLISSEE
Full interior architecture · Contemporary Parisian townhouse
Built across eight levels in the heart of Paris, this sculptural house in concrete and glass rises as a truly unique vertical architecture, at once bold and poetic.
Dressing the raw, designing the spaces, bringing the project to life
The studio's intervention consisted of dressing this raw structure to infuse it with warmth, comfort and intimacy, transforming each floor into a welcoming and generous living space.
Around the lift and central staircase, the true spine of the house, the volumes unfold as cocoons, thanks to a rich palette of materials: fabrics, velvet, wood panelling, gilded panels, and soft forms that contrast with the rigour of the concrete.
Each level has its function, each space its atmosphere, offering the inhabitants places that are both functional and deeply felt.
Interior architecture of a vertical house
A graphic "Sky" wall runs the full height of the house, from ground floor to rooftop terrace. This mural accompanies the eye and the vertical journey, creating visual continuity and reinforcing a sense of openness within a dense urban context.
Signature furniture
The furniture — largely designed bespoke by the studio — plays a full part in the identity of the house: sofas, bookshelves, rugs, headboards and singular pieces such as the fluorescent kitchen block, each conceived to inhabit every corner with elegance and comfort.
The result: a vertical Parisian villa, contemporary, refined and warm, where every detail reflects a deep attention to the experience of daily life.
