A second collaboration and a mark of trust.
After the success of the Paris 11e salon makeover, Bottega del Coiffeur called on Selig & Renault once again to renovate their historic address on the rue de la Butte aux Cailles. The brief: refresh the atmosphere and gain an extra workstation in a constrained space.
Dolce Vita as a creative direction
The moodboard draws from the effortless chic of Italian Dolce Vita — white-painted brick, soft pastels, raw natural stone, golden shelving. The atmosphere gently shifts towards the world of wellness and self-care, without losing the salon's signature identity.
Rethinking every centimetre
The relatively narrow space was restructured by reclaiming the floor area previously occupied by the old shop windows. Painted walls stopping short of the ceiling visually widen the salon. Two custom mobile workstations bring flexibility to the layout. A dedicated Barber corner introduces a new service for male clients.
Every bespoke element was designed in-house by the studio: the reception desk, the guard-rail shelving unit with integrated cloakroom, the barber shelving — and the striking pink bench at the entrance that greets every visitor.
Following the renovation, the salon was selected by L'Oréal to carry their premium Kérastase range — the finest endorsement a salon can receive.
