APPART HOTEL - PARIS
APPARTCITY GRANDE BIBLIOTHEQUE
Lobby concept & interior design · Serviced apartment residence

This 114-apartment hotel residence has an immense lobby, two terraces, one overlooking a garden, and nearly 200 potential seats for a café, bar or restaurant. Yet the space was being used for little more than breakfast service and check-in. The potential was there. It simply needed to be unlocked.

Reimagining hotel hospitality

The starting point was conceptual: what if the traditional reception desk, cold, functional, impersonal, were replaced by a convivial café counter? A place where guests arrive and immediately feel at home, where the boundary between hotel and neighbourhood dissolves.

The Grande Bibliothèque district is resolutely modern, and notably lacking in that authentic Parisian charm that residents and visitors quietly long for. This is precisely where the opportunity lies. A grand café with genuine character, warmth and a sense of place would feel like a natural addition to the neighbourhood.

At Café Appart'City, the spirit of the great Parisian cafés is very much alive, the light, the generosity of space, and the easy energy of contemporary life.

When a hotel lobby becomes the café the neighbourhood had been waiting for.

Testimony

"The agency's strength lies in its preliminary work on a concept before creating a decorative atmosphere that aligns with the brand's attributes. Their approach is similar to that of a communications agency, except that the result will be physically present and visible to our clients for several years."
