PRIVATE SPA - PARIS
MAISON FLAG
Spa design & concept · Private venue open to public · 120m² · Paris · Selig Renault interior designer
In the basement of this architect's house, a 9x3m pool and an 11m² Moroccan hammam were waiting for a complete overhaul.
Rethinking from the ground up
The existing 120m² were poorly used: no changing room, an outdated shower room, unclear circulation and nearly a quarter of the floor space given over to storage.
A journey conceived as an immersion
The goal was to create a complete wellness space, open to the public by appointment. We redesigned the circulation and structured the guest journey from the entrance, a changing room first, followed by a planted corridor that establishes an atmosphere inspired by Mexican cenotes, heightened by coloured LED lighting.
The offering was expanded with the addition of a jacuzzi, a sauna and a multi-jet shower. The gym originally requested by the client was later transformed into a comfortable studio, allowing guests to extend the experience with a night on site.
The details that make the atmosphere
Considered details throughout, a fibre optic star ceiling, columns clad in KitKat mosaic tiles, integrated plants and immersive lighting, create a coherent environment designed for total relaxation and disconnection.
A basement transformed into a sanctuary. A complete wellness experience, in the heart of Paris.
