The owners wanted to bring warmth and comfort to soften the raw language of the house - concrete, glass and metal. They entrusted the interior decoration to the Selig & Renault duo, giving them carte blanche.
The centrepiece of their proposal is a monumental fresco spanning the full height of the house: "It is the guiding thread," explain the decorators. "A wall dressed in Sky from floor to ceiling, from dawn to the stratosphere, in the form of a custom-designed wallpaper. This fresco connects the floors to one another."
Each level then offers its own atmosphere, shaped by its function: "The key was to create comfort 'nests' on every floor - enveloping, curved forms and a richness of materials that promote well-being in this home open to the outside: fabrics, velvet, wall coverings, woodwork, gilded panels…"
Selig & Renault also designed unique furniture pieces, as well as sofas and rugs, all made to measure.
